Bendigo Aquatic Centre is a competition-standard swimming facility that is also a family-friendly centre.

It has four heated pools – a 50-metre lap swimming pool, shaded toddlers’ pool, intermediate pool and diving pool. The intermediate pool has an accessible ramp and the 50-metre pool has an accessible chair lift. The diving pool has a 1-metre and a 3-metre springboard.

Bring a picnic or use the barbecues, enjoy a coffee at Waves café, find a shady spot or visit when the Hoobee Tubee water slide is open.

The historic Bendigo Post Office, built in 1887, is now home to Post Office Gallery as well as Bendigo Visitor Centre and the Living Arts Space. Established in 2010, Post Office Gallery is a satellite exhibition space of Bendigo Art Gallery providing an engaging platform for the interpretation and display of the myriad social history stories of the city and surrounding region. Post Office Gallery is a unique venue with a changing annual program of curated exhibitions and events ensuring a broad and dynamic exploration of the region's varied history with strong  ongoing community involvement.

The La Trobe Art Institute is an ambitious vision, an aspirational institution looking towards a redefinition of the role of the university art museum in the 21st century.

The Institute (LAI) brings together all art related activities across the University’s multiple campuses. These include contemporary exhibition spaces and the ongoing care and maintenance of the University’s extensive cultural collections of contemporary and historical artworks, social history and ethnographic objects.
